Match Cup Sweden
World Cup in match racing returns to Marstrand 1-5 July. Week 27, thousands of guests come annually to see the world's best match racing sailors when they compete in thrilling duels. Since its inception in 1994, the competition has become a classic part of summer on the west coast and Match Cup Sweden is often referred to as one of the worlds premier sailing events. For the second consecutive year, the competition is determined by state-of-the-art M32 catamarans, and during the week a variety of activities are offered to all visitors. In addition to sailing, there is the possibility of eating good food and taking part in activities that the events sponsors have to offer as well as becoming part of the community formed around the event. GKSS Match Cup Sweden is part of the World Match Racing Tour, which will be finalized in China in November. There is high pressure on guest spots in the harbor during the week and it is a good idea to book a spot asap!

Partial competition in the RC44 Championship Tour. Since its inception in 2007, the RC44 Championship Tour has established itself as a key series to compete in the International Racecourse. The tour combines the world of sailing and shops, making it possible for amateur owners to sail high performance monohull yachts with some of the worlds elite sailors on some of the most beautiful and varied sailing locations around the world.
August 7 - 9
Turn of the century days
on 7-9 August 2020, it will be time again to pull back time to the last century and experience Marstrand seaside resort. Bathing suits, kings, cars, markets, theater shows, star boats, orchestras and much more are in place to turn Marstrand into something magical that was only in the past.

Marstrand Boat Show
Marstrand Boat Show August 21 to 23 held the West Coasts largest floating boat show of Sweboat - Marine Industries Association. Welcome to this years boat party!
A floating boat fair at Marstrand will be organized for the first time by Sweboat - Marine Industries Association. This means that large parts of the entire boat industry will be in place to showcase their offerings. Most of the participants have previously exhibited at Open Shipyard at Orust in Ellös or Henån.
There are over 200 motor and sailboats in all sizes, both Swedish and foreign.
There is also a large accessory exhibition with exhibitors of marine products and services.
They also have free trial-on activities such as sailing, rib boat ride, etc. All under the knowledge of instructors.
Marstrand is Swedens sailing metropolis and also a highly appreciated tourist destination for the whole family! You can stroll along the pier and watch the boats, eat plenty of restaurants and outdoor cafes, stay at anywhere from B and B hotel, take a dip in the sea or simply enjoy the marine environment.
Note that there are very limited number of guest harbor spots and it can be difficult to get a spot during the event.
